01 What FTR is The category

An Indian company built to a European standard.

India now carries the anchor investments — fabs, hyperscale data centres and pharma corridors, funded and government-backed. What these programmes turn on is proven execution capability on facilities that do not forgive general M&E practice.

These facilities are accepted on production parameters, not on being finished. A data centre is accepted because its systems keep running through a simulated failure. A fab is accepted because a high-purity utility holds specification.

Our leadership built that capability inside the Irish specialist cluster. FTR exists to transplant it — made resident in India, not imported project by project. We are an India-registered company, based in Ahmedabad, contracting under Indian law, with Irish and European specialist partners integrated into delivery.

02 How we engage One system, three models

Three levels of risk transfer. The assurance regime is identical in all three — you choose how much of the mission-critical scope we carry.

Full EPC Package

Single-point responsibility for the mission-critical scope. Maximum risk transfer.

Principal contractor role. Engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and turnover under one programme, one interface and one accountable contract — with Irish and European specialist partners integrated into delivery rather than bolted on.

Best entered pre-construction, at strategy or procurement stage, where the sequencing decisions that govern schedule are still open.

Commissioning, Quality & Planning

Assurance without scope change, on a project already moving.

Commissioning management and QA/QC authority alongside your existing contractors. ITPs, hold points, integrated systems testing, turnover dossiers and independent verification through to handover. Nothing is re-procured and nobody is replaced.

Quality authority carries the power to stop work. Primavera P6 planning, design and interface management, and operational readiness sit inside the same appointment. Deployable at any stage, including mid-construction.

Electrical & CSA Packages

Specialist trade depth inside someone else's programme.

Self-delivered electrical and civil, structural and architectural packages, integrated with vetted Irish specialist contractor partners, under your principal contractor or a third party's.

The same standard, a narrower scope. Best entered at package award or long-lead procurement, where material approval and traceability still decide the outcome.

Common to all three: the FTR Project Delivery System — right-first-time planning, mandatory hold points, contracted quality measures and progressive turnover evidence.

04 The delivery system Six gates

Work advances through gates. Not because the programme says it should.

A controlled document set governs every FTR project. Each gate has entry criteria, evidence requirements and a named owner — and none of them can be waived to recover time.

    Approved information

    No work from uncontrolled or superseded drawings, specifications or method statements.

    Verified materials

    Technical approval before purchase, acceptance before installation, full traceability after.

  3. 03

    Readiness and method

    Approved method statements, ITPs, competent supervision and pre-work briefings.

  4. 04

    Inspection at stage

    Risk-based intervention points, and mandatory hold points that cannot be bypassed.

  5. 05

    Mechanical completion

    Formal certification against complete records, with punch categorised and owned.

  6. 06

    Commissioning release

    Written release only. No system energised or handed over on informal approval.

05 The published standard Reported weekly

We never compromise on quality. We contract to it.

Standing targets in the FTR QA/QC Management Standard, offered as contractual reporting measures rather than aspirations. Reported weekly at project level and monthly to the Board. Execution authority sits with the Operations Director, structurally separate from commercial authority, and is not delegable.

07 FTR Academy Skilling

India is building the fabs. We build the workforce that builds them.

Certification aligned to NSQF and NCVET, so a certificate earned at any centre is valid on a live project anywhere in India — and abroad.

A hub-and-spoke M&E construction academy, taught by resident Irish and European master trainers and delivered through the existing Government ITI network.

    A full-scale cleanroom construction mock-up bay alongside practical training bays, replicating live fab and data-hall conditions.

    Government ITI Centres of Excellence — the spokes

    Existing institutions upgraded to one uniform specification: orbital welding, HV/LV rigs, HVAC rigs and white-space assemblies.

    Certified local trainers — the cascade

    Serving ITI instructors certified by resident Irish master trainers, so the capability stays permanently with the State after we leave.

Nine specialist programmes — from cleanroom fundamentals and orbital welding to testing and commissioning through L1–L5 — each mapped to a live project role and delivered 70% practical. An explicit pathway for women into the sector runs across all of them.

09 Why FTR The argument

India’s constraint has moved.

The investment is committed and the sites are cleared. What decides these programmes now is not whether they can be built, but whether they can be commissioned, proven and handed over to the standard the process demands.

No country acquired that capability by accident. Ireland built it around Intel at Leixlip from 1989, Taiwan around Hsinchu, Arizona around Intel and TSMC — each building what its anchor investment demanded, then exporting it.

India now has the anchor investments. What it does not yet have, at the scale the pipeline requires, is resident execution capability. FTR exists to make it resident — by bringing the people who have already done it, and by certifying the workforce that will do it next.
